I like to interact with the student I am tutoring. I want to be near that student so they can I can clearly explain what they need to learn, and make sure they can hear and understand it. Learning is a combination of processes, emphasizing what works best. For me, the approach is to use what works best for the student to learn what needs to be learned, with the underlying objective of the student learning how to learn - meaning a self-awareness of what works best for him or her. The tough learning is slugging it through the stuff that we just don’t seem to get or seems to have no value in our future lives. A Little Bit About Me...

All through high school and college I was a tutor. I have taken numerous writing extensive courses. This qualifies me to tutor English. I have also taken many courses that concentrated on Social Studies. Science was always one of my favorite courses in high school, therefore I took a few science courses in college as well. I taught 4th and 5th grades for 4 years and then taught science as an exploratory to all of the students for 4 years. I developed my curriculum for all grade levels in science, connected them to the building block and Sunshine State Standards, and created assessments.
