A Little Bit About Me...

I have taken 18 hours of Math courses including Algebra, Calculus, Business Mathematics and Math Analysis. I have my undergraduate degree in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting. I have worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels. I have written numerous research papers and business report. I have worked in the Auditing area professionally for over 10 years.
I have taken an Effective Teaching class at our local Community College. We learn all types of techniques for helping students to learn. Some students learns by hands on applications others through repetition. Still each person is unique and I believe all students can learn. I truly believe in learning by doing. Being shown the answer never helps anyone. You must go through the process of doing to be confident in your abilities. I try to make the student feel as comfortable as possible with making mistakes. That's the whole point of studying, to improve. This requires a lot of patience and understanding of how the student views the assignment.
