I am a very interactive teacher. I want feedback so I can see the progress the student is making. If they are not getting something, I make adjustments and change tactics. I teach tot he student(s). Everyone learns differently. And sometimes by the time I get to them student, it has nothing to do with their ability but more their confidence because of previously bad experiences. I am a graduate from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor Degree in Communications. I have been studying American Sign Language for the past 8 years. I have been an Instructional Assistant for a deaf and hard of hearing class for two years. I have been teaching American Sign Language for the Language Door for 4 months and I have been a freelance interpreter for the past 2 months.
I have a passion for working with deaf students but I also love teaching hearing students ASL. I make my classes fun by providing various ASL games.
