My teaching style has been formulated since I was in college as a Teaching Assistant. I have found that although by following some examples to solve one or two problems may be a quick way to achieve a short term success, however, the students would forget them quickly and when the situations have some minor changes, they may not be able to solve the problem by themselves again. I believe it is important that the student understands the theory part of a topic, but more importantly to do practice examples to see how the problems are solved. I think one can understand a problem and its solution once they see how problems have a certain methods of approach. I like to show how problems can be solved by showing the student multiple approaches to each particular topic.
