I believe that all children can and want to learn when given the right opportunity. Sometimes a student needs a one-on-one approach to be able to reach their potential. The first and foremost thing that I stress to all new students is that you can never ask enough questions if you do not understand something. The only way you will learn and understand something is to ask questions. This leads to the most important quality that a tutor must possess, patience. When I earned my BS in English, with a thirty credit business minor, I already had fifteen years experience working in a family run retail store.
