I have developed an interrogative style of teaching in which I seek to ask the right questions and guide the students to the correct conclusions. I have found this to be far more effective than simply lecturing. I also seek to connect illustrations from everyday life and current events to the course material (when it is fitting to do so). As an Education Director at a Boys & Girls Club, I taught in the non-traditional sense, through after school literature-enhancing programming of various kinds. I instructed K-12 students, and even parents and staff, on many different levels of achievement and ability, so I am very acquainted with diverse populations and accomodating their educational needs through creative tools and approaches.
