I have all my students pick which area they are having the most trouble with. If they are unsure I create a evaluation test to asset their weak spots which will be our main focus. Then we review homework I go through each problem and teach them various ways of solving and give the importance of learning that specific skill. I also provide numerous practice problems ranging from easy to very difficult.
I am experienced in tutoring all math areas from elementary to high school level and some college level math. My specialty is elementary math and Algebra. My teaching style adapts to the students current level of knowledge. I always model 2 or 3 problems step by step before asking the student to try a problem.
