Math, Physics and Electrical Engineering Tutor

Hello, My name is Brian and I majored in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Riverside. In middle school and high school, I took every Honors and Advanced Placement math and science class offered. In college I have taken differential equations, single and multi-variable calculus and physics for engineers. I have always excelled in math and in high school I found that I am also good a teaching it to others. I do not have a lot of formal tutoring experience. I mainly have just helped out friends and friends' siblings whenever it was needed. In high school I helped classmates when they did not understand certain concepts in our math classes. I also tutored a friend's younger brother for about a year and a half, in Geometry and Algebra 2. I have worked with students of all ages. I have taught elementary all the way to college level students. I have taught basic math,algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus and SAT math. I graduated from electrical engineering school. I understand what it takes to bring students up to speed. Over the years I have learned that students did not understand the subject because they did not master the basics. Math is like solving the puzzle, one has to master the previous course before moving on to the next.
