As a student who graduated with honors from Sonoma State University in December of 2009, I was driven to achieve the highest level of excellence in education. I have earned my BA in Biology, and have taken 21 units of Chemistry, and 12 units of Math. I have also gained many hours of experience using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, while writing research papers, laboratory reports, and essays. Making lessons interesting I feel is key to retaining student interest. Using real life and practical examples are an efective means of getting a point accross. Encouraging student participation and using clues to prompt the student to use reasoning will allow the student to be able to solve problems, sometimes in areas where the student has no experience.
