Accounting is one of my top subjects! I graduated from Bloomsburg University (Pennsylvania) in Fall 2000 and have worked at a public accounting firm (ParenteBeard) for the last 11 years. Education is my passion, for both myself and others. I strive to ensure each individual understands what it is they are trying to achieve; by encouraging the use of endless questions, imagining possible solutions, and ultimately rendering a decision that is clear and concise.
During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I have worked continuously in the educational setting with students, staff, and clients. With the vast array of individualized learning abilities, styles, and patterns I have come to be very successful in enabling others to understand such areas such as math, finance, and accounting.

A Little Bit About Me...

I try to work at a pace that is comfortable for the student and also meets the academic requirements for their program. I have a lot of patience and encourage students to try even when they are not familiar or comfortable with a subject. The first step is always the hardest. I believe anyone can learn and feel no one is too old to go back to school. Learning and education should be encouraged no matter what stage of life we are at.
I earned Associate’s degrees in Liberal Arts and Accounting, as well as a Certificate in Office Technology. I had the highest GPA for both the Certificate and the AS in Accounting at the same time.
