I teach with the learning style of the student. I am able to change things up when I see the student losing interest. My manner is calm and patient.

I enjoy teaching high schoolers for a variety of reasons. Mostly because of how honest I can be with them. I have been a physics and mathematics tutor for my fellow students at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Ontario. Also, I served as a physics T.A. at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute before I transferred to Waterloo. Finally, I was a substitute teacher for two years at Belmont Middle School and Belmont High School, in Belmont, New Hampshire.
My teaching style is simple but effective. With mathematics and physics, the student retains an idea, with the added benefit of a solid intuition if he or she is fortunate enough to work through a problem using his or her's own insights. I learned to be patient, understanding and compassionate when dealing with a student’s learning style one-on-one.
