A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated in May, 2010 from Indiana University with a BS in Biology and a minors in Environmental Management and African American Diaspora Studies. Through my biology curriculum I took many math, chemistry, biology and physics classes. I have excelled especially in chemistry, biology, and algebra and I have experience tutoring in high school level chemistry and math. Also, through my liberal arts degree I gained significant experience writing papers and editing other people's writing.
Science has always been very fascinating to me and I love to share what I have learned in the sciences. The most important thing to me is making sure each child is able to learn in a manner in which they feel comfortable. Each person's learning style is as unique as the individual themselves. So, I like to get input from the student as to how they would like lesson plans and exercises to be implemented. I don't believe that there are children who can't reach their fullest potential as long as there is a teacher who is willing to put in the extra measures that are necessary.
Due to my undergraduate experiences at NCAT, I was able to develop new skills while enhancing the ones that I already possessed. While at A&T, I earned a degree in African American studies, in which I learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing graduate level research papers.
