Experienced, unconventional Latin and English teacher

I have over 20 years of experience working as a university instructor and private teacher for students ages 11-50. Most of my experience has been in English as a Second Language programs for community colleges and research universities, including M.I.T. and Tufts University. For the past several years I have been assisting middle and high school students with Latin (I have studied over 11 years of that language) and have also tutored beginning German and English writing.

I like working with children of all ages. I believe that children of all ages and cultural backgrounds can learn if given a proper chance. I even managed to teach children in South Korea, when I didn't speak Korean at all and my students had limited English skills. I taught them through games and use of our workbooks and student books.
