I believe the key to teaching at the elementary level is developing a love of learning in the student. A student will simply go through the motions if they are not invested in the subject. I do this in the classroom by sharing my own love of science, books and reading. i have never taught professionaly, but have assisted fellow students. the methods i useed to help them were ither to incorporate the subject matter into a sumject that they had a personal interest in, or manny time i found that they just didnot understand the language of the subject so i reexplained it in simpler terms and they got it just fine.

Once in a classroom I realized that I was meant to teach. I love working with students who are challenging and those who challenge me.
