My comments on tutoring Earth Science : I have a solid background in physical and earth sciences. This includes the basics of physics, geology, atmospheric, and planetary science.

I have earned a "Bachelors in the Science of Mathematics" degree, graduating from Lake Erie College with a 3.82 GPA. I have also taken several college level chemistry classes. I believe that there is just not one way to teach because there are many different learning style. Teachers must identify their students' learning styles and find ways to incorporate them into the lesson. I agree with Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
