Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have..

I am very patient. My mother was a teacher and liked helping children and I believed that her genes have rubbed off on me as well. I like to help others succeed. I believe that an individual does not have a disadvantage, but a advantage when they make up their mind to do something. They can become great.

As a teacher, classroom experiences have made me realize all students do not learn the same fashion. Some students are more aggressive and advanced but there are those who are silent and will not speak out about difficulties understanding competencies. I prefer not to embarrass those students but give them the opportunity to learn one-on-one. My love of the French language led me to pursue my BA specializing in the language and culture in college. After college I immediately traveled to France on a very generous scholarship from Rotary Foundation. This permitted me to live and study at a very old and prestigious university in Poitiers, France. I also tutored the children of my host family in English to earn a bit of extra money for traveling. I learned Spanish while in the Army for the purpose of intelligence gathering. As I streamlined accounting processes for the businesses I worked for, I wrote procedures and trained personnel on every level across every department both in the U.S., Singapore and China. I tutored my children in math due to the inept teachers in the public school system---up through algebra one.
