I graduated from Plymouth State University in 2008 with my B.S. in Health Education. As a Business Consultant over the past 20 years I have taught computer and business applications to over 50 business employees. I have extensive experience in fund accounting and grant administration. While in college I tutored finite and basic math in a work study program. I have found that I have a unique ability to teach students who have learning disabilities. I have the ability to read how a student learns and change to their abilities. I began my college education majoring in Special Education and changed to Business later when I realized I was suited for one on one teaching.
I believe in teaching to the student’s style of learning. If convention works use it. Picking up on a student’s interest and intergrading the educational experience is essential.
