I grew up between Bolivia and the United States and speak Spanish and English fluently. I took statistics in university and taught math in Spanish from time to time as a substitute for the Woodburn School District. In Woodburn I taught a self contained classroom for a while. Learning is like a puzzle or a code, and I enjoy the reaction of students when they finally solve the puzzle, or decipher the code. I try to show the student the practical application of the subject, and then make them enjoy their time learning. I love seeing the joy of the "Aha!" moment.
