A Little Bit About Me...

I have been a nanny for a child with ADD for the past three summers. I know how to work with children with ADD very well because of that experience. I also was a volunteer teacher's aide for the first grade at my school my senior year of high school. I got to work with the children every day of that school year doing many different activities. I have also worked some with autistic children. I have shadowed speech pathologists that work with autistic children as well. I got to work even more with autistic children during that experience.

A Little Bit About Me...

I feel as though I am highly qualified and competitive for a teaching position because of my abilities to relate to children of all ages. As a volunteer basketball referee at Northside Baptist Church, Upward basketball program since 1998, I work with children between the ages of 7 and 13. I teach them about basketball and sportsmanship. As a parent of a 17 year old son, I constantly mentor him and his friends on life, school and everything in between. I am patient, and have an easy going personality. I enjoy working with children, and seeing them understand new concepts.
