My comments on tutoring Japanese : I am a native Japanese speaker. I graduated from a Japanese junior college with an English major. I have lived in the U.S. for 13 years. I am married to a native English speaker and have two children who speak both English and Japanese. I love teaching kids and families who are interested in traveling to Japan for pleasure or business.
Basic vocabulary, grammar and conversational Japanese.
I have taught conversational Japanese for the past ten years, and I really enjoy it. For adults I have been using the text book called "Genki: An Integrated Course In Elementary Japanese". I am not certified to teach Japanese but I have experience teaching students who are just beginners and helping them become better speakers of Japanese. My focus is on teaching basic Japanese language and culture to students of all levels of ability, beginner to advanced. I focus on basic grammar, vocabulary and daily conversation. My class is most useful for people who have an interest in learning some Japanese for fun, to prepare for travel to Japan, or for business. Learning Japanese should be fun so I do my best to make it enjoyable.
