From past experience I have learned that everyone has a specific way of learning and therefore you must accompany to that. I believe that patience is one of the most important qualities any tutor could have. I believe once students realize that everyone needs help in life, whether it be work or school, they will succeed and completely change their view on tutors and their future education.
As a student at Kansas State University, I am currently enrolled in the Architectural Engineering degree and I am completing my last math class as of now. A Little Bit About Me...

In conclusion, I think that I can still be successful in teaching. I however, need to find what area that I can be most successful at. I think that with my non-traditional training and experience, that a similar position would give me the opportunity to be most successful. One thing that I have thought a great deal about these past few weeks, is that I am entering middle age and must be a success at something. I don't believe in an unteachable student. One of the greatest pleasures I have in teaching is having a breakthrough with a student that has had difficulty. I believe every student has the possibility to meet and exceed expectations with the right teacher! I believe that not every student is the same. My style is relaxed and informal, but effective. School already provides enough structure, and with a relaxed mind, information can be processed more easily. 1 hour sessions multiple times a week is the best way for the information to sink in.
