I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I enjoy helping students work through tough problems by allowing them to make mistakes and then rework the problem a couple of times the correct way. Since this is my area of expertise, I am able to come up with examples on the fly that will target the areas most troublesome to the student. A Little Bit About Me...

Cumulatively, including extended substitute teaching situations, I have taught all grade levels 1-12 in various subjects. I would describe my teaching style as ecclectic. By this I mean that I discern which style or strategy would best accomdodate the needs of the particular child, based on their learning style. Once a child starts asking questions you know that they are excited about it and want to learn.
