As a teacher I work well with my students, giving them the basic ideas that they need to learn to appreciate mathematics. As a mother of four, I provided them the idea that mathematics is really an enjoyable subject.With much patience and compassion, I was able to impart to them that learning is fun. I give them lots of examples to solve, then I explain to them the step by step computation. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, I tutored in a math lab during the summer of my college years and later went into the Peace Corps in Zimbabwe to teach math and science to high school level students. I am a creative, patient teacher. I know that everyone learns differently, so I try to come up with many different ways to explain a concept.
