A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught K through 12 grades. I have a Bachelors Degree, Multisubject Clear Dredential, a Spanish Authorization and a CLAD endorsement. I have 39 credits above my Bachelors. In the last 19 years I taught ESL to Algebra and just about any other subject. I did a two week K-8 National Education Science Workshop with NASA in 2001. In college I tutored Cultural Geography and while living in West Covina I did Math tutoring for a friend. Teaching is my priority and feel that there is a need for good teachers.
I enjoy what I do. I love seeing students achieve their goals. The first thing I have always told my students was that there isn't anything you can't do if you want it bad enough. I am a creative, patient teacher. I know that everyone learns differently, so I try to come up with many different ways to explain a concept. I love to see the sudden understanding in a student's eyes when they finally understand a difficult concept. This is what makes teaching an addictive and highly fulfilling activity for me.
