This depends on the student and his or her individual needs. I like to find creative ways to make learning more fun for the individual so that he or she will feel more motivated to learn.
I have been tutoring since I was in high school. Between that and teaching Sunday School and Children's Church, I have more than ten years of experience. I have tutored children whose ages range from elementary school to high school. I have also tutored adults to help with college classes and help prepare for GED tests. I teach the Bible to children whose ages range from newborn to eight years.

I have a very unique teaching style that enables my students to have fun while learning. I can easily see the individual needs of all of the students I teach. Each and every student that I teach is first and foremost a human being. I treat them as I would like my own children to be treated. I understand that what will appeal to one child will not necessarily work with another. I love learning math and science and I enjoy sharing the same love of learning with my students. I like seeing the look on their face when they really get it! Students requiring tutoring are sometimes in academic distress and have anxiety therefore I have a more easy going and patient style of tutoring than most. I believe I'm an effective tutor because I remember the exact same difficulties and questions I had as a student and can relate to their frustration. I believe that everyone should be a life long learner. I have earned two Associate Applied Sciene degres in General Office Technology and Early Childhood Educaiton,which have helped me to have a desire to help young people excel in life. Currently I assist student with working to achieve their GED or Adult High school Diploma. No one is too old to learn.
I love children. I am the Youth Director at my Local church and I believe children learn best my hand on. I am very patient with children and children love my care free style.
