I have helped friends (and their children) to prepare for exams since when in high school I won various awards for my performance on exams. I won the top score for the Regents exam for Duval County in 1971 and for this I was recognized by the downtown Rotary Club. Also I won the top statewide scholarship award for the Chamber of Commerce and for the N.H.S. due to performance on exams. Also I won the Merit Scholarship award. I have only recently started to do tutoring for pay. ALL STUDENTS WELCOME!

Whenever I can, I like to be very hands-on in my teaching my students. For example, once I was teaching my class about trees. I had them go outside and collect samples of bark which had fallen on the ground. Then we created a gigantic mural in my classroom and glued the pieces of bark to a tree we had drawn.
I have been a self-employed Tutor since April, 2006. Special needs and home schooled students are welcomed. Nothing makes me happier than when I see the smiles on the faces of my students when they succeed rather than fail. I assist all students in skill building and creating a life-long love of learning.
