I graduated from high school in 2011 with special honors and as co-valedictorian. I am now attending the University of Mississippi where I am majoring in accountancy and minoring in business. My passion is writing, so naturally that is what I do best. Every year, I am contacted by numerous students from my high school and also my classmates at Ole Miss about proofreading their papers. I have also worked with helping students study for math classes, including but not limited to pre-algebra and algebra. My best subjects have always been English and math, but I am efficient in all high school level courses with the one exception of science, which has always been my weakness. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been an educator for 5 years in the public school system. I tutored through college and while I was getting my masters degree. I have taught from grades ranging from 2nd- 10th grade. I taught elementary for 4 years and I am currently a 10th grade English teacher. I teach the material that is required to pass the Mississippi state test in order for students to graduate. I have a masters degree in reading specialty and I am qualified to teach college in the subject areas of English/Language Arts and History. I'm a recent graduate of Rust College. During my years at college I tutored in subjects as biology, basic math, college algebra,English literature, and also was a co-judge for a local junior high science fair. During the summer of 2009, I did my internship with the Ronald E. McNair program at the University of Mississippi. This program focused mainly on research based studies with a chosen graduate professor.
I'm an assertive motivator. Learning should not be repulsive, children love to learn by examples that they can relate to. I find the opportunity to combine the likes and dislikes of the student and mold them into a constructive solution. Using metaphors and similes are more of my specialties. The style is strict, but the concepts are easier. When the task is completed, the student will say I was tough but with a caring aftereffect.
