I have worked for Liberty High School with their AVID program for over 4 years now, and I have been a personal tutor for about seven years to date. My comments on tutoring College Algebra : I took the course in college and it was one of my best subject. I have tutored for 4 years in college and I have help my fellow students do great in their course.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a classroom teacher I quickly learned to engage each student individually. I prefer tutoring because I can tailor my instruction to a specific student. Children have different learning styles so it is my responsibility as the instructor to adapt lessons to maximize learning for each child. Ideally I am able to guide a student to realize concepts in their own terms rather then dictate facts to them.
