I enjoy helping people learn English. Have a lot of understanding and compassion of what it means to learn a foreign language, as I have learned two. I have also lived as an expatriate in a foreign country, so I understand a lot of what the expatriate has to go through in a new land. I am used to teaching all types of learners, from slow to fast, and am able to adjust. I love to see people be encouraged and catch on, so I try to guide new concepts around mental roadblocks, and make it easy. I also love to learn new things, and new ways of doing things.
I was a Missionary in Panama for fourteen years. Learned Spanish through a two-year course in the country. As a missionary, I went on to teach Literacy and Bible to indigenous peoples there.
