I have tutored for many years. I first started tutoring in High School, then while I was in College and lately for the neighborhood children. I have brought younger children up to speed in reading (k-5). I have worked with children in Middle School and High School with their math work. I have tutored pre-algebra and algebra. I have a completely hands on approach to teaching. I work with the student to see what it is they understand and what they do not. I present the information in terms that would be understandable to someone who knows little about the subject. Have the student review it and ask any questions.
