Eventually I earned my M.Ed. in Reading, then started School Administration and Adult Education. In addition to currently being a substitute teacher for the Missouri State Schools teaching a variety of subjects, I have tutored elementary students in all subjects for one year. Through another employer, I worked closely with two students to improve grade performance in writing and math. Also, I have worked as a group facilitator for about six months where I taught adults basic living skills and tutored them to help them obtain a G.E.D.

Wal-Mart Produce Manager Front-line hourly supervisor, majority of the work evolved customer service, planning administration work for upcoming events, keeping in stock merchandise, delegating daily operation tasks, managing associate performances, accurate in stock, meeting sales forecast, meeting a certain profit margin, working with outside suppliers, and controlling expenses within the department.
There are many arrays of learning styles. I personally use visually, writing, and seeing the bigger picture. First, the mind can develop a concept or help map out the ideas by seeing the picture to the learning task. Second writing helps to reinforce the concept or idea. Lastly seeing the bigger picture helps to encompass their own ideas as well as the originator ideas.

I held this position for two years along with a summer position tutoring Algebra and French with HEC Upward Bound, which service at-risk youth. A Little Bit About Me...

For some children, some subjects are hard to understand. Children can get frustrated just by not being able to understand the subject matter. My approach is to alleviate that frustration by going through the steps slowly and demonstrating these steps several times. In addition, I allow students to go through the steps on their own with my assistance so that I can catch any mistakes that they make. I am patient, and I find creative ways for children to learn.
