After having raised 4 children, I know that each child has a different learning style. One may be very able to understand abstract thoughts and teaching styles while the other may not. Therefore, tutoring must be done on a very individual basis. I have experience with assistance in teaching yoga, childcare, and with those who have mental disabilities. I am a student at University of Wisconsin Fox Valley, receiving my Associate Degree of Arts & Science at the end of May 2011. I have been struggling to pay for school to further my education because it's been all on my own. I work two part-time as a florist and own my own cleaning business. A Little Bit About Me...

My undergraduate degree and work experience was in criminal justice. Since retiring from the investigative field I have obtained my Masters in Education specializing in literacy and learning in the content areas. I have been teaching full time in South Korea for the last four years. I started out teaching young learners phonics for one year, English conversation to high school students full time for one year. The last two years have been with third through sixth grade elementary students in a public school. After my regular classroom hours, I worked with my schools administration to create an after school program to help gifted and struggling learners of English. I have been learning everyday of my life, because there is always something new to learn. Life teaches many lessons but what I have come to learn is that education is very valuable. I want to give back to the community by helping others learn of all opportunities that a good education can bring them. I continue to educate myself by attending workshops, seminars and many life learning classes. In high school, I tutored my fellow students in various math courses.
