In the time I spent in high school, I tutored several other students in mathematics ranging from Algebra I through Calculus I. I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am studying Aerospace Engineering and in fulfilling the requirements for my major, I have taken many mathematics courses. The combination of my experience from high school as well as what I've learned in college will allow me to be a successful tutor.
When I first work with a student, I like to get to know the method of teaching that they have already experienced from their math teacher. This allows me to know what sort of methods and teaching styles they student has already been exposed to and thus allow me to elimnate strategies that do not work.
