A Little Bit About Me...

While my area of expertise is physical education, I have gained great experience in other areas of education while searving as an in house substitute for Highland Elementary. Serving as an in house substitute provided me with experience working with large groups, as well as working with students on an individual basis. This experience also provided me with the wonderful opportunity to work with students with special needs. I have also served 2 years as a full time physical education teacher, which gave me an opportunity to interact with students and further understand the learning process.
I believe the biggest key to learning is finding a way for students to relate to the information. I am currently an Avid Tutor for Springfield 186 School District in Springfield, Il.I am also Teacher Assistant and Special Education Attendant certified. I have also tutored at Lincoln Land Community College in the past. I also have done private tutoring for friends of our family and people that they know and have referred me. I have my Associates degree and am currently working towards my Bachelors degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics.
