In helping with mathematics, I interact with the student. I try to help the student find the answers. I give hints towards the direction needed to go to solve the problem. If helping with reading, I have the student read to me. If the student is uncomfortable, I read a paragraph and then have the student read the next paragraph. I help the student pronounce words.
