Then I work with them on being able to articulate and write their ideas down...subject matter follows naturally if they have the confidence and can just think for themselves not just spit back facts and what others want to hear. I like working with children of all ages. I believe that children of all ages and cultural backgrounds can learn if given a proper chance. I even managed to teach children in South Korea, when I didn't speak Korean at all and my students had limited English skills. I taught them through games and use of our workbooks and student books. A Little Bit About Me...

My philosophy has always been, "make it interesting and they will learn." However, what is interesting to you and I may not be interesting to the next person. Therefore, I listen to the child and figure out their learning style and interests. Only then can I properly teach and know they understand the subject matter.
