During the past 5 years I have been a substitute teacher for Kentwood Public Schools and Excel Charter School in both elementary and high school classes. This experience has given me insight into what I feel is necessary for students to prepare for the future i.e college, skilled labor, technology etc. I have administered tests to evaluate pupil progress and issue reports to parents to discuss student progress and any problems that may exist.
Students that I have tutored/mentored have become very successful in their life after graduation from H.S./College. I know that if a child can read, and understand what they read, they can be successful in life. That is my first priorty in the education of a student.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a student at Western Michigan University I was able to achieve a 3.6 Grade point average. With a BS in Exercise Science I am currently on my way to Northwestern in September to study Physical Therapy. I have alot of knowledge in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, Anatomy and Physiology, and Psychology. Over the past year and a half I have volunteered my time to help fellow students improve in thier studies and achieve their goals. I have volunteered to help students in Physics, Biology, Anatomy, and Calculus.
