Anyone CAN learn ANYTHING...I promise. :)

I believe that happy people not only learn faster, but they also retain more. Far too much of our kids' lives are spent cooped up indoors. Therefore, I like to take an open-door approach to learning and like to schedule as many sessions as possible out of the house/library/etc. Each session is guaranteed to be filled with fun learning experiences that the pupil will be sure to remember. A session with a child that needs reading/spelling/comprehension, for instance, could very well be done at the zoo. I want my kids to learn, and have fun doing it! A Little Bit About Me...

Reading and writing are, and have always been, enjoyable for me. However, I know that a lot of people do not feel the same way. My goal is to show students that if he or she can get past the miring details that oftentimes come with English, it can be pretty dang interesting. Since revealing the fun parts of English is my goal, I am not super strict nor do I expect students to master the subject material right away. I love working with children. I have 3 of my own and I am currently studying for a Master of Science in Higher Education so that I can teach. I would love to teach college courses, but my main focus is teaching elementary students. I think it would be easier for me to tutor younger kids versus high shcool children.
