I took General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, College Physics I & II, Human Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Calculus I, Histology, General Biology, Pathophysiology, and Genetics to name a few. I come from a heavy science background and have been tutoring students since Junior year of high school. I have also completed several research projects at my undergraduate institution. During my study towards at BS in Chemistry I published a paper with a professor doing electrochemical research. I currently work at a small manufacturing company where I purchase raw materials, formulate products, supervise the manufacturing process and check the quality of the end product. Through my studies and work I have learned to apply analytical thinking to real world problems for results. During the past decade I have tutored in mathematics, science, philosophy, photography and literature.
I love helping children see the beauty in the world we live. That can be through solving a math problem that they struggled with or helping them learn from their mistakes. I have progressed from Research Engineer to Senior Research Associate over the course of 32 years in the U.S. Paper Industry. Eventually, I became a Product and Process Development Scientist working in Europe, Canada, and the Americas on long-range capital technical projects. I persisted in R&D until 2005, when I opted to start a brand-new career in Information Technology. After graduating with BSIT in 2006 Summa Cum Laude (4.00) from DeVry Chicago, I held jobs in database, programming, disaster recovery, and as an online instructor for DeVry.
