My comments on tutoring French : My mother tongue is French and I am perfectly bilingual in both English and French.

French is my first language and I have done all my pre-college education in French. I still speak French with my childhood friends and family. I have tutored people last year and the year before and helped them improved their communication. These people planned to move to France and they wanted to learn the language. I've either taught or tutored in some form or fashion for over 17yrs now. I've had ages 3yrs to 22yrs old covering all manner of subjects and hobbies. One of my most rewarding experience was with an 18 year old special needs 10th grader ready to drop out of school. We met 2-3x a week for 6mths. In that time he raised his GPA from 1.2 to 2.7. He completed his 10th grade year and went on to take and pass the G.E.D. the following year.

A Little Bit About Me...

After attending Dallas International School (DIS), a French school, for the majority of my childhood, I worked at DIS's summer language institute as an assistant teacher for four summers. The last of those three summers were sandwiched between school semesters attending the University of North Texas where I graduated in three-and-a-half years with two bachelor's degrees - French and Public Relations - and a GPA of 3.30. I am currently employed full-time at a Discount Medical Plan Organization (DMPO) based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, however, would enjoy pursuing the dream of teaching the French language.
