As a student at Corning Community College, I was a tutor in the Math Learning Center. Of the two years I attended Corning, I worked in the MLC for one and a half of those years. As a tutor, I helped other students with subjects including: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Applied Calculus, Calculus, and Calculus II. I feel like if I can put together a lesson that gives children a motivation to learn, they will learn on a deeper level than if I am merely telling them information.
