From having been in the education field for over 10 years, I have come to learn that my teaching style is very much dependent on the learning style of the individual. Introducing young children to language requires a very different set of skills and expectations that teaching freshmen composition at the college level. I think the most important aspect of a teaching style is the ability to judge and modify instruction so that it is suited for the learner, and I always intend to teach the student, rather than just teach the material.

I believe working one-on-one with students can make a huge difference to help a students make progress. I think learning should be fun, and it can be fun if you go about it the right way. When teaching students, I provide a lot of student support, while expecting the students to work hard. I know that students can make progress and I am excited to help students make that progress.
I have always been a dedicated student throughout all of my schooling, from kindergarten up to graduating from a university. I have a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, and I have worked with students from 3-12.
