Portuguese is one of my top subjects! Portuguese is my native language. I lived in Brazil until I was 26 years old. I have continued to read and write in Portuguese, and it remains the easiest language for me to communicate. My previous teaching experience includes teaching children for over ten years. I truly love teaching and helping others, and in particular, I love working with children.
I work very hard to make learning interesting and engaging, even when it comes to monotonous tasks that are required for learning a language. I think that it is very important that the learner be able to comprehend and speak the language, in addition to learning how to read and write. When it comes to teaching children, I frequently engage them in games and fun activities to make the learning process enjoyable and productive.
I lived in Israel for 17 years. Since arriving in the United States I have taught adults Level 1- Introductory Hebrew that included 16 classes over a four month period. I am also currently teaching Hebrew Level 2 and tutoring children at home. I am highly proficient in all of the the aspects of Hebrew including conversational Hebrew, and reading and writing both block and cursive in Hebrew.
