In 2005 I graduated from Fredonia University with childhood education including a middle school extension in English. I completed my master's degree in Special Education from Medaille University in 2008. I hold a New York Certification in Childhood Education as well as English through grade 9. I have worked in many educational levels throughout the elementary and middle school. I spent 3 years as a teacher's aide in a pre-school setting. I spent a year as the academic intervention specialist in a elementary school. I have also spent 2 years as a general education teacher in the first grade. It is important for students to reach the sense of satisfaction that one gets when he or she solves a problem or overcomes an obstacle on their own.
