My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : More than 2 decades of teaching experience.

I use a variety of teaching styles to involve students in the learning process: in traditional and computer-mediated classroom settings, and over the internet. The traditional teaching style (face-to-face interaction) was blended with technology (such as online discussions and assignments) for a boosted learning environment. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelors degree in mathematics which I just recently completed in May of 2015 from Binghamton University. I tutored at the university for 2 years in trigonometry and calculus 1. The list of math topics that my major covered are as follows: Calculus 1, 2 & 3, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Number Theory, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Topology, Probability and Statistics (as 2 separate courses) and financial mathematics.

A Little Bit About Me...

In college, I tutored kids K-5 on primarily their reading skills. However, I also asked them if they needed any help with any other subject and what material was covered. From this I would put together study outlines from their notes and textbook. This allowed me to know ahead of time what should be emphasized. Also, when teaching a biology field to a more mature individual, I find that reading up on the material actually emphasizes my passion for the field. There also have been times I have made up mnemonics for certain biology topics, whether it is a rhyme, story, or parody of a song.
