A Little Bit About Me...

My favorite part of being a teacher is when I see a struggling student succeed. I believe that all students do not learn in the same way, and so it is of utmost importance to find the BEST learning method for each child. It is important to keep the student involved in the learning process with hands-on activities that allow the student to experience the science!

A Little Bit About Me...

I have over 200 hours of classroom observation and teaching time. I have been an afterschool supervisor/leader at an inner city elementary school. I have also subsitute taught in a public school classroom. I was also the president of the TRIPLE E elementary education club at my college. I was also a leader at AWANA (a children's program). In addition to the classroom experience I have, I have also written numerous Units and/or lesson plans to teach in classrooms.
I am a kinesthetic learner, so I enjoy teaching in a very approachable, hands on kind of way. I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models.
