A Little Bit About Me...

I hold two degrees in Sports Medicine, and was one of the few students in the country in any discipline to have cadaver anatomy courses at the undergraduate AND graduate levels. I absolutely love studying and teaching anatomy, especially musculoskeletal anatomy. I have supervised undergraduate and high school students for 8 years, and taught sports medicine, pathology, and anatomy at the high school and technical school level. I am currently teaching an exercise science class at our local community college, and working full-time as an exercise specialist and personal trainer.

Education has always been extremely important to me. To me there is no greater feeling than finally grasping a difficult concept and I love helping someone else achieve that feeling. I know that each student has an incredible amount of potential and the trick to unlocking it is not in forcing a set way of understanding ideas, but in approaching each problem from several different fronts and working towards a total understanding of one concept before moving on to the next. Secondly, laughter and enjoyment need to be part of the learning process.
