Teaching is not for everyone, but I knew it was for me when I started student teaching and felt the adrenaline rush of 25 eyes staring up at me for guidance. I feel the need to spread as much knowledge as possible to the up and coming generations.I always feel rewarded when the day ends because I was able to help students get a better grasp on life. I also believe that the student is the teacher as well. Through my experiance, a student can teach an instructor just as much as the instructor can teach them. I am very laid back yet can still hold the fine line of being direct and rigorous at the same time. I am excited to teach anyone and everyone. I have taught youth and adults in Mexico, Spain, Chad, Benin, Morocco and other countries. In most of those cases I was teaching English, but I also taught key aspects of health, sustainable development, lifelong skills and leadership. I taught classes ranging in size between 5 and 100. I am an accomplished writer and enjoy tutoring in English composition, literature and grammar, as well as foreign language. After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers. My skills as an educator served me well and I did extremely well. After approximately 8 years I decided I wanted to go back to teaching, and have been teaching the use of computers. I have over 15 years experience in the Accounting field as well as have owned several successful businesses in the IT industry of which I functioned in the daily business operations and all financial accounting duties. I also homeschooled my children from pre-school up to grade five, as well as taught Sunday school at church for several years.
