I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at Colgate University. Later, I attended Penn State University where I studied elementary education and earned my teacher’s certification after taking classes, interning, and student teaching. I taught for six years: four years in first grade and two years in third grade. While teaching full-time, I also tutored for the school system after-school, on Saturdays, and during the summer. As a graduate of Mercer University, I have had the opportunity to work with students in many different grades while completing my many student teaching experiences. After graduating, I began working on my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Mathematics with Walden University. I am only two classes short of completing my degree and will have it finished up in a little over four months. I recently began tutoring students from grades 3 through 11 using the Wilson Reading System.
