I have over of 30 years of progressive experience in tutoring young children in the elementary years of education in all subject matter areas. I like to take the "mystery" out of the subject. Math can be especially scary to students who don't have a strong foundation in general mathematics and reading comprehension. I am currently volunteer tutoring an adult friend in general math and I am proud to say that her understanding of the basic principles have increased dramatically in only a couple of sessions.
